Kurayami Matsuri
The most atmospheric, and noisiest, festival I've seen so far. A very, very large taiko drum and a whole set of 1200kg+ portable shrines made for a memorable, and memorably deafening spectacle. The videos just can't do it justice I'm afraid. Unless maybe you turn the volume up to maximum and put your head right next to the speaker...
